Rustington in Bloom is the Village's entry into the National Britain in Bloom Campaign where Villages and Towns compete to have the most attractive floral displays around to enlighten them to both locals and visitors to the area. The wonderful floral displays, clean streets, free parking and variety of shops attract many visitors each year to our thriving Village. The Village is continuing to be enhanced year on year, to improve not only its aesthetic appearance but also to emphasise awareness of environmental matters. more...

In Bloom 2014

Driving or walking through the Village it would appear from the beautiful floral displays that Spring is here, but the cold, wet and dreary weather makes one feel that we are in the middle of Winter. Those floral displays, with their splashes of colour, have lifted the spirits throughout the grey winter days. more...

Our Journey to Gold

Our journey began in 2004 when the Parish Council, in partnership with a small group of volunteers from various groups and organisations, decided to enter South and South East in-Bloom. This provided an opportunity for Rustington to receive recognition for its vibrancy, community spirit and aesthetically pleasing appearance.. more...

Oak Community Project

Oak Community Project is part of the community both in terms of being supported to contribute to the community and being supported by the village to experience every day opportunities you and I take for granted.

The Oak Community Project is a unique day service supporting individuals with a learning Disability in their own community using the community as the classroom of learning.
